Week 2

I made it!

Sorry for the lack of updates. Nothing very exciting has happened this week. BUT I have stayed on track and have been 100% on target. In fact, as of weighing myself yesterday, I am down 9.6 pounds since August 7th! That’s pretty amazing.

This coming week starts “the cleanse.” I have to add this syrup-looking stuff to 32 ounces of water and drink the entire 32 ounces EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. In addition to the water I already drink… all I can say is it’s a good thing I will be home most of the week!

The craziest revelation I’ve had this week is that I actually enjoy eating vegetables. Not that I didn’t before, but they taste better now that I’m getting all of the processed sugary stuff out of my system. Green beans, bell peppers, onions, spinach, asparagus… yum! I still hate peas though… never try to get me to eat peas!

I am really starting to miss certain foods. Not craving things like I was before, but simply missing the flavor of some things (cheese! soy sauce!). I absolutely plan on keeping up the healthy eating lifestyle, and I am considering continuing the Arbonne protein shakes for breakfasts because they taste good and are SO easy to make for a non-breakfast person.

Again, I’m not getting anything for mentioning Arbonne, I just really have fallen in love with this healthy living program! It’s changed my life!
